STUDY VISIT IN MURCIA, SPAIN
The Cultural Ambassadors Program
During the study visit in Murcia, Spain, as well as through the mentoring program, we will develop skills in cultural space activation and the adaptive reuse of heritage sites. Participants will contribute to local initiatives, promote non-formal education, and foster the inclusion of socially excluded groups in these processes. The program will involve continuous engagement through meetings and co-creation activities until the end of 2025.

April 7, 2025
Arrival Day
On the first day, participants will arrive at their destination in Murcia. An optional guided tour of Murcia’s city center will be available for those interested in exploring the area.
April 8, 2025
Working Day 1
The Training Course on CGE & UF will take place in Murcia City, offering participants a unique learning experience. The program includes a VR Cultural Experience by Up Project, an E-learning session by Emphasys, and visits to the Old Prison and La Muralla Visitor Centres to explore the city’s heritage.
April 9, 2025
Working Day 2
The program will cover Creative Entrepreneurship (TBD) and Funding & Sustainable Business Models, led by Urban Foxes. Participants will also visit a key venue in Murcia City and take part in a Transnational Project Meeting (TPM).
April 10, 2025
Working DAY 3
The sessions will focus on Community-Authorities Collaboration, with Sguardi Urbani leading the first session and Gradascope the second. Participants will also visit a key venue in Murcia City and work on the Action Plan, guided by Urban Foxes.
April 11, 2025
Departure DAY
The program will conclude with the TC Closing and TPM Closing, followed by the departure of participants.

The training course in Murcia will focus on fostering creative entrepreneurship, cultural activation, and collaboration between communities and local authorities. Participants will explore innovative approaches to cultural and social engagement, including Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, e-learning methodologies, and sustainable business models. Sessions will include expert-led discussions on funding strategies, interactive workshops on urban community collaboration, and practical insights into creative entrepreneurship.
Additionally, study visits to significant cultural sites such as the Old Prison and La Muralla Visitor Centres will provide real-world context for heritage activation. The program will also feature a Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), ensuring long-term impact and implementation of project outcomes.
